O/D Conversion Kits
The
overdrive gearboxes share many parts with the non overdrive box
that you may already have. Aimed especially at the American
market, this kit contains all the parts you need to convert your
gearbox to overdrive - note that this kit provides overdrive in
both 3rd and 4th gear. Both early LH type (black label), 1280 tpm
speedo drive and late LH type (blue label), 1000 tpm speedo drive
units are available.

Here
the overdrive unit is attached to the adapter housing, this
whole assembly replaces the rear extension housing on your non
OD transmission.
Below
the unit is the replacement mainshaft which takes the gears
from your existing transmission.
A
wiring harness is also supplied.
